 Transfers Tsara Camp is located to the south of the capital Antananarivo, close to the Andringitra National Park.
Transfer by car
The Route Nationale 7 (RN 7) is a tarred road connecting Antananarivo with Tulear (Toliary) over a distance of 950km. Between Ambalabavo and Ihosy you find the small road to the camp. Just watch out for the sign near the Tanambao or Antanambao village. It is about 25km from the RN 7 to the camp along the small road. After you passed the Vohitsoaka village the track is difficult and requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle. The short distance of 10km between the village of Vohitsoaka and Tsara Camp takes about one hour and 15 minutes. However, the view of the Andringitra Mountains and Tsaranoro Mountain will award you for the bone-shaking ride.
 Transfer by local transport
The private bus-company MadaBus provides comfortable and fast transport between tourist cities along the RN 7. It is a regular transport service with a fixed timetable. Each bus stop is combined with accommodation possibility. You can take the MadaBus to Ambalavao (north of Tsara Camp) or to Ranohira (south of Tsara Camp). From there continue your journey by local taxi-brousse until you reach the village of Vohitsoaka. You can either enjoy the nature by walking the remaining 10km to the camp or be picked up by a 4-wheel truck. It is a very difficult drive which takes about one hour and 15 minutes. The truck is stationed at the camp and can transport up to 20 passengers with luggage.
