The Tsara Camp lies in the Tsaranoro Valley with the Tsaranoro Mountain (800m) on one side and the giant mountain chains of Andringitra National Park on the other side. The camp offers perfect comfort in completely secluded settings.
Accommodation is provided in 15 tents, each with a floor space of 16m². Each tent has two simple beds or a double one, bedside-table and possibility to hang up clothes, a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Hot water is provided by a solar system. The whole camp has electricity in the morning and in the evening.
At the centre of the camp a 90m² tent includes a restaurant, relaxing and sitting area, which offers unlimited filtered water, tea, herbal tea and coffee.
AÂ breakfast buffet is served from 7am to 8.30am to help keep you fit throughout the day, especially for those who are planing hikes and excursions.
Lunch and dinner are complet menus including starter, main dish and dessert. Please inform us in advance if you prefer vegetarian food. We prepare you a complete picnic for full day excursions.The cooking is rich in taste and offers the chance to experience the Malagasy food culture.
What to bring? Trainers, but ideally trekking boots, warm pullovers for the cold winter nights (June-September), sun-glasses, hat, drinking bottle and a torch.
What is provided? Towels, sheets, mosquito spirals, binoculars and a small medical kit.
