Schools in the valley are isolated from main roads, which makes communication and logistics difficult. Due to the remoteness of the place, all difficulties are increased. Reforms and material support from the Education Department reach this place with difficulty. And it’s obvious that education has improved in the valley over the past years, and that all children in the valley go to school. The efforts of the Education Department, NGOs and tourism operators are all contributing to this improved situation.
For example, A French NGO (St Jérôme partage et développement) has made major contributions to improving schooling and community health in the valley.  For its part, Tsara Camp has invested time, money, equipment and other resources into education since the camp was established in 2002. Donations to date have included blackboards, tables and benches, stationery and basic teaching materials.
